Sweet Disorder

Description

Robert Herrick's ode to things not quite symmetrical, which:
"Do more bewitch me than when art
Is too precise in every part"
seems particularly fitting for this collar of gorgeous creamy white blister pearls, which are so striking precisely because of their asymmetry. It is through this quality of the pearls that this necklace manages to be at once classic and modern, formal and informal. This certainly isn't your grandmother's string of pearls, but I wager she would have been more pleased than scandalized to be seen walking out of the house in it.

Seventeen and a half inches of blister pearls are punctuated by tiny sterling silver balls and finished off with a pretty rope-twist sterling toggle clasp. Simple, elegant, but hardly conventional.
