Glass Enamel on Copper Pendant - Mitosis Speciman
Description
Mitosis is the process through which a cell divides itself in half. In this speciman, we note the presence of two nucleous-like structures, seemingly caught midway through division. The structure seen here consists of lead-free glass enamel layered upon a copper disk. Recently discovered by your humble metallurgist (me) and never to be seen again.
Pendant is 3/4" in diameter. Comes on a 16" commercially bought sterling silver chain, ready to be studied in detail by your trained eye.
