YEW WOOD PENTACLE/PENTAGRAM altar piece made in the UK

Description

This is a lovely Yew wood altar piece made from a slice of yew wood with a labyrinth pyrographed (burnt) onto it. It measures about 2 inches in diameter. This is a great addition to any altar or to carry round with you.

YEW is Thought by some to be Yggdrasil, the great World Tree of Norse mythology, the yew tree has existed since before the Ice Age. Associated with everlasting life, rebirth and transformation, it is used magically for seeking visions, travelling between worlds and exploring the mysteries of life and death.

The wood for this piece came from dead wood from a hedge at my parents place - given the age of the house and that the hedge was on the original plans this piece is from a tree over 100 years old!

I am happy to put different designs on similar for you - labyrinths, pentacles, fairy stars, spirals, runes, ogham are all possible
