These are fine detailed torch sculpted, by hand, Borosilicate* crystal figures, though some done many times, each is unique onto itself as only a hand made figure can be when done by an experienced flamework artist. Hanging King Dragonfly* (Libelluloidea) about 4" lifelike and gossamer colorfull hand made of borosilicate glass multi colored Color as shown with black and white wings cobalt body or choose Amber,Red,Blue, or Green, all with Cobalt Highlites from store auctions! hangs or sits fine addition to any Managerie! Approx 4" diam.

*Dragonflies, or damselflies, were connected to Freya the Norse goddess of love, fertility and warfare. Freya was famous for her beauty and her knowledge as a magician. It was she who taught Odin the shamanic practices known as seidr which were still practiced during Christian times. The paired bodies of mating dragonflies form the shape of a heart, perhaps being the source for that modern symbol of love. In ancient lore, the dragonfly represents transformation, adaptation and insight.
