Old English Candy Tin With A Smarmy Little WASP Girl And Her Dog
Description
I simply cannot get over the expression on this little girl's face. Perhaps she was just informed that no, she does not have the power to hire and fire the help.Anyway. This vintage candy tin reads "Sharps - The Word For Toffee" on two sides and "By Appointment Suppliers of Confectionary to the Late King George VI" on another.
Reads "Made In England By Edward Sharp and Sons Ltd of Maidstone Kent" on the fourth side and on the bottom of the tin.
Would be a great bathroom "stuff" box, a place to stash your keys, love notes or baby teeth. You get the idea!
Condition:
Distressed vintge condition. Inside of tin has some pretty rust spots that add to the appeal. Some chipping and rusting on the lid as visible in the photos.
Measurements:
1.75 inches tall x 5.5 inches long x 4.25 inches wide.
