Description
These 3 rustic textured medallions in rich tones are ready to be made into a necklaces or used for embellishment. They are shown with US quarter for size reference. Two have a matte finish and one is matte with a shiny glaze in the indentations.The largest is approx 1 1/2" across at the longest point. The hole on the black is approx 5mm, and the other 2 are approx 2 1/2mm.
I started creating these stoneware medallions to use as embellishments for my basketry and gourd work. My intent is to make them look ethnic and ancient, like artifacts that have been unearthed or found in a tomb. The effect I love is both rustic and elegant, and they work beautifully with my art. I offer them here to use as your heart desires.
