Micromosaic Folk Art Heart Pendant

Description

A handmade ooak pendant made from polymer clay and copper.

Many hundreds of micro-thin polymer clay threads were rolled by hand, baked, cut and presssed into a clay surface. After curing, the threads are part of the substrate and will not come off.

This piece was entirely handcrafted by me, including the threads and the folksy copper bezel. The pendant measures 1.5 inches in diameter.

Strung on 36-inch hand-sewn dyed silk ribbon
