Fire Starter -- Super La Gordita Scarf/Cowl in Rust

This next scarf in my La Gordita series is supersized and oversized. It's extra chunky and super warm and cozy. Once you put it on, you may never want to take it off.

This scarf is an interesting color. Some call it Rust, some Copper. Others call it Spice. It's a dark orange red with undertones of brown. In the sunlight, you can see the multitude of colors that make up the yarn. It's really quite beautiful, I think :-) The yarn is 80% acrylic and 20% wool, so it's not itchy at all. It will, however, keep you toasty warm.

The super gordita scarf measures 19 inches long, folded, which means that it's about 38 inches in circumfrence. It is 14.5 inches high. I use a ribbed stich, which does give this scarf some stretch and makes it extra cozy.

Please note that the pictures are of me and, to be frank, I'm a big girl. So if you're thinner, the scarf will probably hang a bit differently. If you're a bit thinner, it can be pulled over your shoulders as a shrug. You can also pull this up over your head like a hood to cover your ears and have enough material left to still cover the back of your neck!

If you love the concept, but want a different color, size, decorative buttons added, etc, please convo me and I'll see what I can do. This yarn comes in a variety of colors, so we probably should be able to find a color you like.
