Here is one of my favorite colorways spun up for the first time in 2009! I really wanted to get this spun in 2008 and "retire" this color in 2009, but I can't seem to stay away from it! So, I have decided I will continue to spin it in 2009, but it will be slightly different each time AND I will not take custom orders for it.

This is a hand spun art yarn, spun by me from hand dyed merino wool, hand dyed by the Yarn Wench in color "plumgrove".

This skein has novelty yarns in shades of green, dark plum, yellow and burgundy spun in and then plied with bright green thread. This skein has the same yarns spun in as the "1B" skein, but there is only one yarn difference in the "2A" & "2B" skeins so all 4 could be used together. 1A & 1B are from the same fiber batch, and 2A & 2B are from a different (and slightly darker) batch, but they would probably work together for a larger project. Wraps per inch: 6
Gauge per inch: 1.5-3
Recommended needles: 11 or higher (metric: 9)
*for a tighter knit - 11 or 13, for a looser knit 15 or 17
Recommended hook: M or higher

Super bulky weight

Hand wash cold, dry flat
