The World is Your Oyster …Funny how five words spoken centuries ago can still inspire today … And since inspiration is what has led my path since graduating from Boston College in 1997 I see this as the best standard by which to approach the experiences and opportunity that lie ahead. No matter the economic or political climate in which we live, you will accomplish great things so long as you deploy the talents and virtues you’ve cultivated at BC. There is something very special about every one I’ve ever known … This is especially true of those I know and continue to meet from BC.

I've designed this necklace to reflect BC's maroon and gold but also it's special location here in New England. I have hand selected a litany of gorgeous ingredients including: swarovski pearls, crystal beading, sterling silver hand stamped charms reflecting your monogram and year of graduation, sterling silver shells (to remind you ... the world is your oyster!), gold vermeil "B" and "C" charms, swarovski scallop and heart pendants and finally a beautiful sterling silver toggle clasp. I've designed this necklace so that it's beautiful and holds a lot of meaning ... a piece to treasure always and wear proudly.

Together they comprise Up My Sleeve's The World is Your Oyster collection which I've designed exclusively for fellow Boston College students. This collection may only be purchased here on my ETSY site. (I tried and tried to convince the BC bookstore to carry ... but to no avail! That's ok, this way I get to meet you personally.)
