Last year for Valentine's Day I received from my BC the best Valentine gift ever. It was a book, a childhood favorite, one I read and reread, dreamed about, drew about. "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs." Best kid's book ever.

We sat under our windows and read the story together, slowly turning pages and giggling over illustrations of limp broccoli and killer hot dogs. Outside the sky changed all colors of gray to white to black as the storm clouds decided on the prime location to begin raining. The cherry blossom tree leaned a little closer to read over our shoulders, branch tips just about to burst into full blooming glory.

I hope your Valentine's Day this year is just as wonderful, just as simple, just as silly as ours.


"Cloudy with a Chance of Cherry Blossoms No 2" is a cheery combination of printed cottons and rich linens. Under a fluffy white cloud, appliqued in white wool with a thin line of red stitching, a stripe of faux bois plays next to a strip of white linen and a bold swath of pinks and reds. The backside, made with bright white and raw linen, is my signature envelope style with long ties.

Good To Know:
Cover measures 11.5" x 17.5” (this means a 12" x 18" insert fits nice and full).
Material is a combo of cotton and linen fabrics, interfaced for strength.
With this cover I heartily recommend spot cleaning to preserve your lovely forever.
