yes yes of course of course this necklace is made of neither chain nor tissue. it is, surprise surprise, almost 100% fused plastic bags. with the exception of a ring of sterling silver connecting the "tissue" pendant to the "chain." necklace is as one-of-a-kind as it gets, made of sea gree, white, blue, and red plastic bags fused and formed into a truly modern shape. can be worn a multitude of ways--frontwards, backwards, centered, askew--for a fresh look every time.pendant piece is about 5" wide, 3.3" long. "chain" is 18.5" long, closes with sterling silver hook and eye findings.
