Shroom -- La Gordita Scarf/Cowl in Taupe

Description

Aptly named "la gordita", this scarf/cowl is oversized, chunky, and oh so warm and cozy. I've made several of these for friends and coworkers and they loved them so much, I decided to add them to my shop. I'll be adding more in different colors and different sizes as soon as I get the pictures taken and uploaded. I've tried to show you the different ways it can be worn in the pictures.

This scarf is a neutral Taupe color with bits of off white yarn mixed in. It reminds me of a dark-colored mushroom. The yarn is 80% acrylic and 20% wool, so it's not itchy at all. It will, however, keep you toasty warm.

The scarf measures 14 inches long, folded, which means that it's about 28 inches in circumfrence. It is 9.5 inches high. I use a ribbed stich, which does give this scarf some stretch and makes it extra cozy. This scarf is long enough to come up to the botton of your nose, if you don't scrunch it.

Please note that the pictures are of me and, to be frank, I'm a big girl. So if you're thinner, the scarf will probably hang a bit differently. I make this same size for my skinny sister and sister-in-law and it does hang a bit looser, but still looks very cute on them.

If you love the concept, but want a different color, size, decorative buttons added, etc, please convo me and I'll see what I can do. This yarn comes in a variety of colors, so we probably should be able to find a color you like.
