For your consideration is this beautiful, patchwork quilted shoulder tote that I made using designer fabrics. It is truly one-of-a-kind. I will never make another one exactly like it.

This tote is just the right size to carry every day or for a day of shopping and would also make a great book bag, small diaper bag or market tote. It is sturdy enough to hold your heavier items.

ON THE OUTSIDE
I made the front of the bag using a patchwork style, with a lot of top stitch quilting. On the back is a lovely hard to find floral toile fabric in pink and yellow showing a country scene that matches beautifully.

The shoulder strap is double padded and top stitch quilted and will feel very comfortable on the shoulder. I added a magnetic snap closure to keep your treasures secure.

ON THE INSIDE
I think the inside of a purse should be as pretty as the outside. I used a peach quilted fabric along with a Laura Ashley pink and white checked fabric for the lining, and added four pockets and two pen holders to hold all of your essentials. A magnetic snap closure was added to keep your treasures secure.

CONSTRUCTION
I constructed this bag to feel super quilty soft but it can stand on it’s own. Sandwiched between the outside and the lining is a layer of thick batting along with a layer of interfacing. I used several rows of topstitching so the bag will not sag and also give it a feeling of being quilted. All of the fabric in this purse is 100% cotton. Scotchguard has been applied for protection. You can spot clean and steam press if necessary but should be dry cleaned to protect it from fading as you would with any fine garment.

Handle drop is 16-1/2 inches
