Indigo

Description

This is a piece of pottery which has been smoothed by the ocean on the beaches of Scotland. I got this and others from a wonderful etsian rubycquins. I have wire-wrapped the potshard with 20 guage sterling silver to create a lovely triangular pendant. The front of the pendant is a deep indigo color edged in off white, the back side is pale yellow and you can see glaze crackles. The faceted light blue chalcedony bead adds a note of elegance to this tactile and textural piece. The chain is fine sterling silver and the clasp is hand hammered sterling silver.
