Description

sweet little crawling vermin fella to bring a glow to your heart and warm a dark corner in your home. with his ever watchful flower friend.

Wormbaby is produced by sculpting an original from styrofoam and plasticene. An intermediate mold is made of this sculpt from which a plaster model is cast. This model is further refined and a second rubber mold is made. Wormbaby is then rotationally cast to a thickness of 1/2" or so in hydrocal (a harder, more durable gypsum product) from the second mold. This casting is additionally refined , then airbrushed with acrylic paint.
The flower is made in similar fashion.
The base and flower stem are wooden, turned, carved and shaped as needed.
