Ode to The Golden Girls ... Thank You For Being a Friend ... print by elloh

Description

Inspired by the classic tv show about roommates Rose, Blanche, Dorothy and Sophia living in Miami.

The image (fits within 8x10") is printed from an original painting by el lohse (me) onto quality 8.5" x 11" (21.6 x 27.9cm) Rives 310gsm, 100% Cotton fine art paper with archival inks.

The ladies are seated around their kitchen table eating cheesecake and drinking tea or coffee. Sophia, Dorothy's mom is probably telling a story about growing up in Sicily. In the back of Sophia's head there is a tiny detail I added. A card is attached to the fridge and on the card says "Thank you for being a friend", from the theme song.

For my prints, I love the 8.5x11" size for the versatility.

It can be trimmed to fit in an 8x10" frame, or better yet, fits perfectly (I own a few) in a NYTTJA Ikea frame (comes in many colors), or in a certificate/document style frame (most brands have this option in any store that sells frames), and lastly can be placed in a 'floating frame', or a larger frame (11x14" is popular) with a mat that has an 8x10" opening (easy to find in any print/art shop) for the print image.

For an added fee you can also have it stretched onto canvas by el and coated with uv protective gloss. The print would in this case, be printed on heavyweight archival canvas and assembled by el.

The print is signed and titled on the front (let me know if you'd prefer it on the back of the print) comes carefully packaged in a clear protective sleeve in a cardboard mailer, along with a paper certifying it as an authentic elloh piece-all ready to give as a gift.

*not Shakespeare but it is a classic people--an 80's/90's/forever-to -infinity classic.
