Teal Pearl Lampwork Heart Bead w/CZ

A pearly transparent teal lampwork glass heart bead!! A white flower has a cubic zirconia melted (not glued - so it won't fall out) into its center. Wonderful color!!!!

For those of you who aren't familiar with the pearl technique Momo has been using... she achieves this pearl-like finish using a very expensive powder that is sprayed on to the bead, after it is shaped and while it's still hot. Then the bead is annealed in the kiln overnight... creating this gorgeous finish.

Often times, I can't quite show the true beauty of the finish in the pictures. But for those of you that have one of these special beads... you know how pretty they really are!!

Hand made in Hawaii-

Beads are created with Italian Effetre (Moretti) glass-annealed for strength and durability in a brick kiln.

The base of the hearts are ground flat with a diamond file so each heart will always be a good fit against an accent bead. This is especially important when making pendants.

All you need is a headpin, a few accent beads and a good wrapped loop for a finished piece.

For the hearts with 3/32" holes, a Quick Switch (available in my store) will let you wear a new heart every day.
