counting needle heart (LPuC)

Seems like I always get distracted when trying to count out to where my next stitch should go... these counting needles help when stitches are far apart!

I have hooked up a pair of size 28 needles to one of my hand painted floral hearts (and embellished with a few beads) to make a FUNctional needlework tool for counting.

The little flower is hand painted onto white plastic; the paint will not rub off onto your stitching! The thread is colorfast, so this counting tool is totally safe to use on any stitching project.

To use a counting set: park one needle in the starting spot and use the other to count out 10 (or so) and then park that needle. Go back and pick up the first needle and count from your second parked needle... and so on, until you have counted out where your next stitch needs to go. Very useful on designs where the elements are far apart, borders, etc.
