Potted Torch Cactus Needlefelted Pincushion
Description
This petite green cactus will collect pins when you sew and quilt, or it can just brighten up your space! The cactus sculpture and the “sand” beneath it have been needlefelted using wool roving and a specialized needle with tiny barbs on it. After hundreds of pokes with the needle, the form takes shape and becomes more dense. The tiny flower is also needlefelted and attached through the same process with precision poking.The pincushion stands about 4¾” tall and 2” across (12 x 5cm), and has a terracotta pot bottom for stability. It is fun to use and is a unique addition to any needlecrafter’s tools. The pins shown are included, but are removable. This is not a toy and should not be given to children.
