Abalone Treasure
Description
This necklace was created by stitching a beaded bezel around an abalone shell using Japanese silver size 11 seed beads and size 15 rocaille beads. The "chain" was made with a spiral stitch and the handmade clasp with peyote stitch.The necklace is 16" (40.7cm) in length and the pendant is 1 3/4" (4.5cm) in diameter.
