First of all let me apologize to the Francophiles for my butchering of the French language. This is a very bad pun but also the source of inspiration for these pieces.

These three pieces of walnut were hand carved, shaped and sanded to be as close to alike as I was able. I had envisioned hanging them together off a brass wire construction similar to the pattern I have arranged in the photos. They have been hanging around now for almost a year. Alas, my interest and skill in jewelry making didn't materialize. This set is definitely a one of a kind since I don't plan on going here again.

Would also make three identical pendants

Each is 3 3/8" long and 2" wide at the bottom. Only 7/16" thick they are thin walled and weigh only .3 oz (10 grams) each. Finished with multiple coats of polyurethane varnish. They have small brass plated screw eyes in the end. I have not glued them in, since you may wish to change them out for the look of steel.
