Hearts Desire red burlesque earrings

Description

Size: 2 7/8 inches long, top of hoop to bottom of leaf. (7.3cm)

These earrings are a stunning combination of murano style glass beads, and polymer clay leaves. The leaves at the bottom of these earrings are handmade teeny little Red Bud tree leaves. (the state tree of Oklahoma) The Red Bud has unique naturally heart shaped leaves, these leaves were not re-shaped to look like hearts, they grew that way! I used real leaves to mold these darling little ones.

The dramatic red and black swirled beads at the top of these earrings are hollow murano glass meads, so they are quite light.

The leaves are a rich deep red, highlighted with silver to bring out the detail of the leaf veins. The backs are also textured with a leaf vein pattern, and are lightly marked with my personal signature stamp. They are sealed with a shiny coat to protect the finish, and enhance the design.

Three silver toned chains hang from the focal bead, one holding the little heart leaves, the other two holding shiny black bead fobs; creating an irresistible delicate movement when worn.

The earrings are hung on hand formed sterling silver French hoop wires.
