Description
Acrylic on canvas (6 x 8 cm or 2,3 x 2,1 inches). Canvas is painted on all sided but the back. Ready to be hanged. Varnished. Signed on the back. Ready to be hanged.A modern take on the 'Madonna with Child' theme. I always loved those little golden paintings of saints and of the Virgin Mary they used to make for people to carry around with them. So I made my own :-) The mother and baby are surrounded by a gold acrylic aureola. If you are religious, this might be a nice contemporary reminder of your faith. It might also serve as a gift to a new mother as a tribute to the sacredness of motherhood.
