Handpainted Fused Glass Sushi Set

Truly a one-of-a-kind kiln-formed sushi set handpainted with Asian Good Fortune symbols. Lovely mineral green art glass base with French Vanilla on top. Set includes one serving platter (9-1/4” by 5-38”), two individual plates (4-1/2” x 4-1/2”), one dipping bowl (3-7/8” x 3”), and two sets of wooden chopsticks, and a card explaining the meaning of the symbols.

The handpainted bamboo leaf on the platter symbolizes longevity and courage because it does not break even in strong wind. It is flexible, yet sturdy and evergreen. The Asian characters on the individual plates are Happiness and Long Life.

Totally food safe. The handpainted designs have been baked on for durability but I do recommend handwashing.

Don’t like sushi? No problem, this set can be used for appetizers, hors d’oeuvres, cookies, shrimp … the possibilities are limitless! When I have dinner guests, for an appetizer I serve toasted Italian bread on my platter and olive oil in the dipping dish. I place two pillar candles on each of the individual plates. Makes a beautiful setting!
