What a statement! Unusual and huge paperclips were paired with delicate glass beads to form this necklace that can double either as a long necklace or a double-stranded choker.

There are so many colors represented in the necklace: mauve, aqua, green, golden taupe and yellow to name a few, that it can easily be worn with many outfits. All the beads are glass of various sizes and shapes. A silver-tone lobster clasp has been cleverly incorporated to mimic the shape of the clips for those who wouldn't want to mess with the open paperclips.

~WEARABILITY~
I wear each piece I make for a day so I can better communicate the wearability of a piece. The following commentary is, of course, merely my observations. I'm sure each person can tolerate different things for different periods of time.

It's really light so be prepared for the clips to circle about as you walk and swing. They even make a nice musical clink sometimes. A little flip puts them back to rights. To be able to wear the necklace doubled up, you need to have a relatively small neck, no bigger than 14" for sure. The double-up will be too tight otherwise and you'll find yourself pulling at it.

~REFLECTIONS~
This necklace was such a blast to make...:) I was at my local business supply center looking for some things for the office when I came across this set of paperclips. I swear, if they could have yelled at me to pick them up, they would have. In fact, I kinda think they did...;) And so I picked them up!

After obtaining my little treasuries, I then when on a hunting expedition of a couple of months duration to find the perfect beads to match my vision. It was a fun and very successful hunt!
