This listing is for the a great damask print in an olivey-green and brown damask. Great gender neutral for when you don't know the sex of the baby or when the parents don't go for the pastel colors. This listing is for a pocketchanger made only of this fabric.

The last photo (blue tie dye) shows how the pocketchanger looks in various stages of folding and unfolding for use and storage.

I often am asked 2 questions about my pocketchangers and I'd like to share a bit about my philosophy on my materials and folding techniques.

First, I am asked why my pocketchangers aren't waterproof. With a vinyl pad, what happens when your baby tinkles during a diaper change? Where does the tinkle go? Where does the tinkle go when you pick up the pad? My pocketchangers are absorbent, but they are also completely machine washable. Can you launder the vinyl pads in hot water or dry them on high and kill those germs? NO! Can you do that with the pocketchangers? YES!

Second, I am asked why my pocketchangers fold the way they do. They don't roll up and they don't fold in thirds. Why not? Let's say you had to use the pocketchanger on a dirty surface, or a patch of grass that my have been treated with pesticides and you had to use it again before you could launder it. What happens when you roll up a changing pad? Or fold it in thirds? You roll up or fold up the pad in a manner that puts the side that touches your baby with the side that may have been exposed to germs or pesticides. When you fold the pocketchanger in half and then half again, you make sure you know exactly what is on the side that touches your baby until you can launder it again.

I hope this clears up some of the questions you may have had about the pocketchanger, and that you agree that it is a superior product to other methods of construction. If you have any more questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
