ca. 1910 Owl on the moon antique clay gambling chip pendant

Description

Antique gambling chip depicting an owl perched on a crescent moon with stars all around it. A sterling silver plated bail has been securely attached.

Will arrive gift boxed on a 18" black cord and lobster clasp.

This chip is very rare and so unique! Every tiny detail was carved into the clay by hand then debossed. The detail is so great you can see the feathers on the owl.

The back side shows some signs of wear due to it's age but the front is in near perfect condition. I put a layer of shiny waterproof sealant over it to further protect it as it carries out it's new life as a piece of jewelry.
