Bubo the flying owl necklace

Bubo the flying owl is based on the old wooden toys where you pull a string at the base and the arms and legs lift up. In Bubo’s case, he flaps his wings!!!! Hand crafted in fine silver, with lovely detail, this unique owl wants to fly to you.

A short sterling silver chain hangs at the back of Bubo and that is what you pull to make his wings flap.

This is just such a cute and charming piece of “mechanical” jewelry. As Bubo raises his wings, it raises your spirits!

Bubo is approximately 4cm (1.5 inches) tall and has a wingspan of 5.5cm! The pull chain with silver bead on the end hangs down a further 3 cm(1.25 inches). He is supplied on a 40 or 45 cm (16 or 18 inch) stainless steel chain.
