The heart in this box is neither trapped nor alone. It is protected, cherished and supported, and at the same time, free to do what it wants. To me, true love means never feeling trapped by someone else, but instead, feeling liberated by them to pursue the dreams you never knew you had.
The original colored pencil ACEO was sold, but the colors and texture came out so lovely, and with Valentine's Day coming up, I decided to print an edition of cards for anyone who already found true love, or who's looking for it and needs a reminder of what they're looking for.
