The Birds and The Bees Diorama

This tiny diorama is a celebration of "the birds and the bees". A teeny tiny plush bird and bee are contained in a beautifully decorated matchbox.


Matchbox measures 2" by 1.5" (5.1 cm by 3.8 cm). The bird is just over 1/2" tall (1.3 cm) and just under 3/4" tall (1.9 cm). The bee is just over 1/2" wide (1.3 cm) and just under 3/4" tall (1.9 cm). (Not including wings).

The tiny plush animals are from my "Micro Mini" line of collectible mini toys. They are hand sewn and have painted details. I've included a mini bluebird and a mini bee in this diorama. The animals are not attached and can be removed from the box. I love creating things that are interactive.

The box that houses these critters is a matchbox. It has been painted blue and decorated with sequins and rhinestones to represent flowers.

This little diorama will be loved by any miniatures collector or lover of unusual toys. Tuck this tiny treasure into a loved ones pocket as a special surprise or keep it for yourself and display it on your desk so that you always have something fun nearby.
