White Speckled Lid Cookie Jar

Wheel thrown, made of stoneware, this jar and lid fit well together. It is food safe and would be an ideal place to store cookies and other yummy snacks.

After throwing the body of this jar I had to open a new bag of clay to throw a lid. It wasn't until after the firing that I realized the lid was made from an iron flecked stoneware. I love how it turned out, but I'll have to remember to label my clay from now on.
