Take this cute pen with you for writing letters, notes, and checks, use it at your office/work, or give it as a special gift.

This Artful Pen is embellished with a mini piece of artwork that you can take anywhere. It is a cast piece of a girl wearing a dress that I hand-sculpted. After casting the piece I clean the piece and attach it to the pen with Apoxie Sculpt. Apoxie Sculpt is the most durable medium I have ever worked with. It strongly adheres to just about any clean surface. This means it is solidly secured to the pen.

After attaching the piece to the pen, I apply a coat of Gesso to prime the painting surface. Then I'm off to one of my favorite parts of the process, adding some color with acrylic paint! And as a finishing touch I apply a clear coat glaze to the piece. This protects the painted surface and makes the colors "pop."

The pen comes with black gel ink that is water-based and acid-free. And the pen is refillable. I sell the ink refills for my pens,
