Needle Felted Bunny Rabbit Says I Love You

Description

This is a little bunny rabbit I needle felted with Valentine's Day in mind. He is holding a needle felted "candy" heart with an I Love You message on it.

The bunny is about 8" long and is made of a pretty purple-pink roving felted over a core of white fleece. He has a little white tuft of "hair" on the crown of his head and at the tip of each ear. He also has a little white cotton tail made from the same fleece.

His little hiney (hind end) has my initials needle felted into him as a signature, and he comes with a little card stating he is a fine art soft sculpture made by J. L. Fleckenstein, the year, etc. If desired, I will sign the card with a hand inscription to your gift recipient.

He asked me to include a closeup of his face so you could see his two little teeth in the front. He is very proud of them and thought people would like to see them better. He whispered to me just now that he actually thinks the two front teeth will be a real closer on the deal of someone adopting him.

I loved making this little guy, and I know he will find a good home because he is just so darn lovable it will be difficult for folks out there to resist him.

I put quite a lot of hours into making this dear little creature: needle felting requires many, many hundreds of needle pokes into the fibers of the wool in order to form a sculpture. This sweetie pie is 100% handmade, and 100% of my own imagination and design. He comes with extra love and dreams inside of him and hopes to bring good fortune to his new home.

By the way, this is not a plush toy it is a soft sculpture. It would not hold up to handling and playing in the hands of a small child.
