Soda Fired Tray by Jon Whitney

Description

This tray was finished in a soda fired kiln to 2300 degrees.
It perfect for a unique serving piece (picture a wonderfully prepared fish on it!) and would complement anyones kitchen with its' earthy feel. Check out the picture of the bottom of the piece , yummy!
Size is 17" long by 7" wide at the widest spot.

Shipping prices are quoted with handling materials taken into account. If the actual price is significantly less I will refund a portion via paypal after the item ships.

Jon Whitney Pottery was established in the country setting of Mason Michigan in late 2004. Since that time I have strived to make beautiful functional pottery that is affordable enough for every day use. I thrive off inspiration from natural forms and the ideas of the arts and crafts movement.
All of my wares are high fired stoneware finished in a gas reduction kiln. The work is safe for the dishwasher and microwave for easy handling.
