"Guardian of the Herd"

The original work was done in ink stippling. The design of the indian blanket started with the thought of the tracks of the Pronghorn Antelope, and the red striped blanket edging, then drawing idea grew from there. This native American Indian girl has been assigned the duties of caring for the antelope herd. Or maybe she has run across the injured female and heals her. Thus, a friendship grew... let your imagination run wild.

The whole drawing is done in stippling with ink. Stippling is filling in space with texture - dots, in my case. The only items not done in dots is the girl's hair, and the grasses. There is some wonderful detail in this drawing. You can see it partially completed in the second picture.

This is a signed and numbered limited edition giclee print. It is professionaly printed on watercolor paper - not done from a home computer. You will be pleased with the quality of paper, and the clearness in the detail.

Paper size with a white border is 11" x 14".

I will ship in a protective clear bag, and a strong envelope so that is should arrive unharmed.
