Handspun Flower Pin, Hand Woven Wool, Natural Dyed Pinks, Burgundy and Sage Green

This lovely flower brooch uses some of my hand spun wool yarns that were dyed as roving with natural dyes. I didn't label the roving with which dye stuff was used, but I believe for the pinks it was madder root, and the green was first dyed yellow with goldenrod and overdyed with indigo.

The petals of this flower and leaf were hand woven and then sewn together. I sewed on some brown felt on the back to attach the pin back.

A beautiful organic flower pin like this would look great on your clothing, hat, or even your hand bag.

Measurements: approx. 4.5"(11.4 cm)x 3.75"(9.5 cm) across,
pin back is 1 1/2" (3.8cm) in length

Washing instructions: Hand wash in cool water, lay flat to dry.

Created in a smoke-free and pet-free environment (I really do love pets just don't have any living with me now!).
