Dryad - pendant

Description

I'm experimenting with paper and wire right now, and those experiments led to this pendant, which I love and was tempted to keep for myself. It's a wooden circle with a dark stain, covered in a free-form strip of wooden-fibre paper and then wrapped in emerald green wire that I chose because it had faded to gold in a few spots, matching the gold beads on the front. The central bead is a medium-toned wood, as well...three types of wood on this pendant, making it very natural for a dryad whom, I feel, would use bits found in the forest around her to decorate herself.

The pendant is about 1.5 inches (look at the second photo with the ruler to see for yourself.) This pendant should not be harmed by exposure to dampness...rain and the like...but like most jewellery, you should not wear this into the shower or tub.

NOTE: This listing is for the pendant pictured above, but if you'd like a gold-tone chain I will send one at no extra cost...just tell me the length you'd like (16-20 inches is most common) and choose whether you'd like the small link chain or the larger link chain, shown in the third picture.
