Description

By popular request, here are my dancing lady pin-ups ready to be put on (almost) anything you desire!

This listing is for exactly what you see in the first picture, FIVE dancing ladies cut from genuine 1940s/1950s fabric with adhesive on the back. They should safely adhere to anything you can put a hot iron to. Manmade fabrics that melt under an iron will NOT work! Be sure whatever you iron them onto is pre-shrunk! Because of the variances in fabric I can not be held responsible if something doesn't work.

To save paper they will not come with an instruction sheet, so here are the simple steps to follow:

1. Remove backing paper. Get your iron heated up (this brand of adhesive recomends the silk setting).
2. Place the ladies exactly where you want them, right side up. Do NOT pin, it is not necessary.
3. I highly recommend using a press cloth, place it over the ladies.
4. Iron! I usually press up and down with the iron to get them mostly adhered, then rub back and forth for about five seconds to really make sure they're on. Be sure to get the little feet!
5. Sewing around the edges is completely optional. I do it because I like how it looks. This adhesive brand says you shouldn't sew on it, however I have been sewing over it for years and it's fine. They only say that because it might ruin your needle.

You can see how I usually sew them in the last two pictures. I've put them on cardigans, t-shirts, dresses, canvas totes and make-up bags. Don't forget you can also cut them apart (do it while the paper is still on the back, much easier) if you don't want as many. The possibilities are endless! I'd love to see a picture of what you make.

I only have a small amount of this fabric and once it's gone, that's it! Again, this is NOT reproduction fabric.

(If you would like this without the adhesive on the back or NOT pre-cut, just let me know. The price will be the same.)

Not crafty? Check my other listings for clothing with these gals already on them!

Because this item is so small and light weight, it doesn't fall into my $5 shipping rule.
