Regretful and Heartbroken Cupcake Brooch - Bernie

Description

Bernie had one job to complete. One. It wasn't even a big job like watching to make sure crocodiles didn't eat the dog or taping the newest episode of Lost. He was assigned the task of watering the neighbors beloved orchid while she was away on vacation. Now if you are at all into horticulture you'll know that despite being slightly sensitive flowers, orchids are fairly low maintenance and need to be watered ONCE every month or so. And Bernie forgot. Now the multiple prize-winning orchid is withered and brown on the windowsill, and the neighbor is scheduled to be home from Egypt later this week.

Bernie is currently checking the Vacancy listings in the paper - he's fairly certain he can pack his things and be out by Thursday. He will not be leaving a forwarding address.

Bernie is one of a kind and entirely handsewn by me in my cozy apartment in Vancouver, Canada. He measures about 1.5" x 2". He is currently a brooch but can easily be made into a magnet if you'd prefer (let me know upon checkout).
