This mala is made up of 108 wood beads strung on silk cord with hand made conch shell beads for the counter and guru beads. These shell beads are made by Tibetan refugees in Nepal. This mala is simple and beautiful can be worn around the neck or wrist. The beads for this mala measure 7mm, the mala measures 33 inches around. Thanks for looking, custom inquiries welcomed.Mala means garland in Sanskrit; it is used for counting the repetitions of mantras or prayers. When completed I dedicate each mala to the benefit of all sentient beings. Strung in the Tibetan tradition in a multiples of 108 beads.
