Welcome to Black Cat Handspun =^.^=This is for approximately 7.8 oz. of raw (unwashed) huacaya alpaca fiber. These are seconds, which means they're from the neck and legs, but they're still nice and soft! This fiber is a gorgeous deep chestnut brown color - lovely. Unwashed alpaca is super easy to wash, because there's no lanolin to worry about, and no fecal material - just dust and some VM. This fiber is from Blankstone Alpaca, a lovely small farm in the Lehigh Valley, PA.
