Portrait of Caty Greene - 11x14 Fine Art Print
Description
HOLIDAY SPECIAL!ETSY FREE SHIPPING USA THROUGH DEC.1
Caty Greene is all but forgotten in the history books. A vivacious mother of five and the wife of Revolutionary war general, Nathanael Greene, Caty hosted secret meetings for the Sons of Liberty...(note the Liberty pole in the background). It's also said that Eli Whitney took inspiration from her to create the first ever cotton gin. I find it all the more enchanting that she once walked the streets of the city I call home, Savannah.
This print measures 11x14 inches with a white border for framing.
All images are printed with Epson UltraChrome archival inks, on lovely matte paper. The original illustrations are executed in my signature Acrylic & Oil Wash technique. Each print is signed with love by yours truly, and mailed in a sturdy flat mailer.
