Silk Neckerchief in Brown Orange and Yellow with the Poppy Motive

Batik technique is really a painting technique – I have to stretch the fabric on the wooden frame tightly – so I can paint like on the real canvas. It is fun – but time consuming – cause after every round of applying the paint I have to iron steam it in.

For this neckerchief I’ve used so called stain glass technique to put a lovely motive in fall color. Actually you can stretch it and use as a wall decoration – get the original art work (I did signed and dated this art work in the corner) for a price of wearable design))

I used only the high quality German silk paint – so after I fix color in it would not fade. For additional care you can hand wash it in cold water, lay flat to dry and iron on silk temperature
