Mabe Maze Pendant - Brass Smooth

Description

A mix of brass, silver and a suspended mabe pearl create an interesting and modern mix.

A ring of hand sawed, filed, drilled and finished solid brass creates the frame. Tarnish resistant Argentium sterling silver wire create the "maze" of wire which holds the pearl. The colorized pearl is called a mabe or a blister pearl. The golden color is luminescent and sparkles beautifully from within the maze. It is hung from a 30" silk cord.

The brass is not sealed, so it will eventually acquire a pleasing tarnished appearance.

More about the wire:

Argentium silver is highly tarnish resistant! It won't blacken like regular sterling silver. It make acquire a golden color over time, but you don't need a special cloth to clean. Just wash with a little soap and water!
