The Siren (Large Pearl Version)
Description
Just the sort of necklace to grace the seductress of the seas, or her landbound counterpart. Named for a John William Waterhouse painting of a siren who has drawn a sailor to his doom with her song. She looks rather saddened by the effects of her beauty and power.Still, I think it possible that this necklace can be used for good rather than ill. Golden bronze pearls alternate with wonderfully bright and clear chips of green peridot, forming a gorgeous contrast. A single very sizable green biwa stick pearl sits off to one side. Its form is pleasantly organic and it has a wonderful bronzey sheen. Finished with an antiqued brass color toggle clasp, the necklace measures 17 and a half inches in length. Quite a seductive little number.
***Note the last picture is of an earlier version of this necklace and is for reference purposes only. The pearls in this necklace are a bit larger***
