The Egg (Copper and Fused Glass Pendant)

Description

So I found this weird fossilized egg...it has lost a bit of the shell, and you can see right into where the albumin crystallized over a little embryonic critter. Critter? It has six legs and a tail, so I have no idea. Maybe I'll have a whole new Order named after me!

Okay, really, it's a fused glass pendant, and you already knew that. This little oddity is the outcome of three colors of glass, three separate trips to the kiln, and a visit to a ring saw. Tiny copper embryo was fused between clear glass and a white and burgundy rose speckled shell, with a cutaway view on the front side!

Silver plated bail. Approximately 2" high (5cm). Annealed (slowly cooled) for strength and durability...much less fragile than a genuine egg!
