August Airplane digital print of original painting collage

Description

This is a digital print of one of a pair collages I made this last summer. The collages are a response to the constantly changing world and loss of our natural surroundings. I appropriate the text and collage materials from vintage books, both fiction and non-fiction. In this piece the collage is added to acrylic painting on paper. I was hesitant to create digital prints of my work, as in the past digital images seemed flat and dull to me. But I am very pleased at the results of this paper and printer. These prints are bright and lively, full of texture and look the same if not better than the original collage. The prints are each 8 1/2 x 11 printed on matte photo paper with HP Vivera inks. The image is 9 x 7 1/2 inches It will be shipped in a padded envelope wrapped in a protective cello envelope with a board for stability.
