Shakespeare's Raven

In my collection, I have some very old Shakespeare books that are almost so far gone, they are not worth much on the market. But luckily for me, their pages have provided wonderful art material to use in my creations!

"Shakespeare's Raven" came together using many lovely old elements. The pendant was the base of an antique drawer-pull, topped off with a very old button. The drop was made from an original chandelier crystal, Shakespearian text and a vintage raven image.

I used old black crystal beads, new smoky jet glass & garnet beads in the 18 1/2" chain. I handwired the chain with distressed copper wire, and finished the piece off with a handmade copper "S" clasp.

Truly a OOAK heirloom piece that will make your friends take a second look......

**PLEASE NOTE: because my mannequin bust is not long enough, I sometimes have to cinch up the chain in the back. In photo #5, the beads on the chain actually hang down a bit lower on the neck then is shown here.**
