Grocery, Market or Tote Bag- Custom Order

This listing is for a custom bag which can be made in the colors shown, or in colors of your choice. I will be listing new bags as I complete them. Each bag will be a One-Of-A-Kind, with each using different fabrics. Colors, in addition to the purples, available are: Shades of blue- using deep blues on the bottom of the bag; Dusty shades- Muted colors of mauve, dusty rose, with beiges and dusty greens, using eggplant, burgundy, or deep green for the bottom. I use darker colors for the bottoms of the bags. Stripes may be horizontal instead of the diagonal design shown. Please allow 2-4 days for completion of your custom bag.

This beautiful, very sturdy, large bag is made from an assortment of fabric scraps left from various quilting projects. The 100% cotton fabrics are in various grape and pansy prints in many shades of purples. The bottom of the bag is 7.5"x12", with an extra layer of fabric fused inside for added strength. The bag has 13" tall x 12" wide front and back panels. In the photos showing the inside of the bag, there are 2- 24 ounce soda bottles and an average size box of cereal, with lots of room for much, much more. The handles are 4 layers cut with the lengthwise grain for extra strength, they are constructed so that they go under the bottom of the bag, not just stitched to the front, for even more strength. The handle height is appx. 9" above the bag.

Fabric strips are stitched to a base of cotton fabric. The base fabric which can be seen on the inside is the same green mini plaid fabric as the handles. There are only 2 French side seams leaving no exposed raw edges. Machine wash and dry for an easy care bag that will last for many years.
